Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Palmlens collects, how it is used, where it is shared, how long it may be kept, and how you can request deletion.

Last Updated

July 23, 2026.

Palmlens is an entertainment and self-reflection app. It is not medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, biometric identification, or guaranteed future advice.

Data We Collect

Palmlens does not require an account, name, password, or email address to start a reading.

Palm Photos

Palm photos are uploaded only when you choose to scan or select an image.

Palmlens-controlled systems process raw palm images transiently to create visual-only palm feature/profile context and a teaser. Palmlens does not intentionally store raw palm photos long term as a photo archive.

If you buy a full reading, the reading is generated from retained structured scan/profile context, not from a long-term raw palm photo archive.

Palmlens does not use palm images or derived palm features for biometric identification, biometric matching, authentication, advertising, model training, or cross-app profiling.

How We Use Data

Third-Party Processing

Palmlens uses service providers to run the app and deliver readings. These providers process data only as needed for their role:

Where Palmlens shares user data with service providers, those providers are required to protect that data in a way consistent with this policy and Apple's applicable App Store requirements.

The mobile app does not contain OpenAI keys and does not connect directly to OpenAI or core Supabase/Postgres tables.

Tracking, Advertising, And AI Training

Palmlens does not sell personal data.

Palmlens does not show third-party ads.

Palmlens does not use advertising identifiers.

Palmlens does not use palm photos, palm features, readings, purchase records, support data, or diagnostics for cross-app tracking, data broker sharing, advertising, or model training.

Retention

Raw palm photos are not intentionally stored long term by Palmlens-controlled systems.

Derived scan/profile context, reading preferences, paid readings, purchase records, feedback, support diagnostics, analytics, device-integrity records, redacted crash reports, and operational logs may be retained as needed for reading recovery, support, fraud prevention, product reliability, legal obligations, and audit purposes.

Network addresses may be transformed into one-way hashes for bounded rate-limiting and abuse-prevention counters. Palmlens does not use them to infer your location or for advertising.

Local app data such as saved readings and pending recovery state can be cleared from the app. Clearing local data does not remove Apple, RevenueCat, backend, provider, or legal/audit records already needed for fulfillment, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or compliance.

Your Choices And Deletion Requests

You can request deletion of backend data associated with your diagnostic ID by using Email Support. Because Palmlens does not use accounts, we may need the diagnostic ID shown in the app to find the relevant records.

Some records may be retained where needed for App Store purchase verification, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, or audit obligations.

Consent And Permissions

Palm photos are uploaded only when you choose to scan or select an image.

If iOS asks for camera or photo-library permission, Palmlens uses that access only for the scan or upload you choose.

You can stop using Palmlens at any time, clear local app data, and use Email Support to request deletion of backend records associated with your diagnostic ID.

Support Requests

If you contact support, we use the information you provide, plus any diagnostic ID you include, to investigate the issue and respond.

Do not email palm photos unless support specifically asks for a safer alternative. Diagnostic IDs are the preferred way to investigate most issues.

Children

Palmlens is not directed to children.

App Store Privacy Information

Palmlens's App Store privacy details should match this policy, including disclosures for palm photos, retained hand and palm features, reading preferences and feedback, purchases, identifiers, diagnostics, product interaction events, support information, third-party processing, and backend-only AI use.

Changes

We may update this policy as Palmlens changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
